Gold - yes, the top is in.

It's been a while.

But as the old saying goes, "there is no better TIME than like the present."

I've actually been meaning to write this post for several months now - since the middle of March 2022 to be exact.

We've seen a major top come in on the price of gold, with the yellow bullion reaching an all time record high of $2,078/oz on the 8 March 2022.

Since that date, the price of gold has fallen by nearly $400/oz (or almost 20%).

March 2022 was actually a really, really significant time frame. I specifically referred to this date all the way back in 2014 when I first published Trading with the Time Factor - volume 2.

For those of you who aren't familiar with that work, page 129 of that book published the following chart.

Just so the significance of the above chart is not lost anyone, that chart was put together and published approximately eight years ago. It reference a major time cycle that originated all the way back to 1980 when gold made its significant top that year before entering a 20 year bull market. We are now 20 years on, and the next cycle has completed. The time cycle called the (then) all time record high in September 2011, and it has worked its magic again now.

I don't write this to brag. But more to show you that these major time cycles and the predictability you can find in markets if you are using the right time cycles demonstrate how these turning points can be forecast days, months and even years in advance.

When the major cycles are pointing to a particular period of TIME, I will then often use my other indicators to try and narrow down the exact date (often to within a couple of days).

The chart below is one of my more esoteric tools which I published as part of my 2021 Gold Road Map video forecast. You can see from the image that it was telling me 5 March 2022 was a good place for the gold market to top out - remember, the actual high came in on 8 March 2022.

Lastly, I want to point out the significance of anniversaries. Not only are these important dates to remember if you are married, but they are important dates to keep on eye on in financial markets.

You should go back one year from that 8 March top and see what happened.

The results may surprise you. (Then again, if you've been following my work, maybe it won't).

Until next time...
